Kinta Properties Continues Effort to Assist Storm Victims

Kinta Properties has allocated RM60,000 to repair two houses at Lorong 9, Jalan Tawas, Kampung Tawas. 

Director of Kinta Properties Sdn Bhd, Edwin Tan Beow Aik said the contribution is among the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) programmes to aid the victims affected by a storm incident on January 30.

“The roof of the house along Lorong 9 was damaged badly during the storm. The repair process of that house is now almost complete.

“Another house made of wood along Jalan Tawas also experienced severe damage and cannot be repaired.

“We decided to rebuild the house fully beginning this week,” he said in a statement today.

Previously, Kinta Properties contributed over RM40,000 to repair 44 houses at Taman Tasek Damai. 

Present were Mayor, Dato’ Rumaizi Baharin @ Md Daud; Council Member of the Ipoh City Council (MBI), Mohd Rafaad Razali and Assistant Director of Engineering of MBI, Arif Mohd Zainuddin.

Meanwhile, the Mayor expressed gratitude to Kinta Properties for their care towards underprivileged residents who could not afford to repair and rebuild impacted homes.

“We urge developers out there to step forward and follow the example set by Kinta Properties in assisting local communities affected by disasters,” he said.
