Customers of the Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional (PTPTN) can make full use of the newly launched myPTPTN mobile application for an enhanced online customer experience.
According to the Minister of Higher Education, Dato’ Seri Noraini Ahmad, more than 3.63 million borrowers and 5.28 million depositors of Simpanan SSPN will benefit from the online application which is more facile and secure.
“This online service removes the hassle of having to go to different portals as various facilities such as PTPTN loan repayment and savings in one application by Single Sign-On (SSO) are offered to its customers.
“In addition to the services provided on myPTPTN, loan statement review, loan repayment, SSPN Savings statement review, opening of account and addition of SSPN Savings deposit, as well as salary deduction and direct debit for loan repayment and SSPN Savings can also be done,” she said.
Noraini said that customers also don’t have to worry about data breach of personal details as the app has the latest security technology to ensure the safety of its users.
“All transactions are easy and safe on myPTPTN. Users will be required to verify their identity before performing any transaction, such as verification through the registered email or contact number using a Transaction Verification Code (TAC),” she explained.
Meanwhile, PTPTN Chief Executive, Ahmad Dasuki Abdul Majid said that the application was developed in conjunction with PTPTN’s 25th Silver Jubilee celebration and is a benchmark to prove the corporation’s determination to strengthen higher education and succeed in the national digitisation agenda.
“The myPTPTN mobile app is PTPTN’s main initiative in conjunction with its 25th Silver Jubilee Celebration.
“The development of this mobile application is to ensure that PTPTN is on par with other financial institutions in the market in providing the latest digital facilities,” he highlighted.
