New Feature of MySejahtera Tracks Hotspots of Infectious Diseases

The MySejahtera application is now updated with a new feature, the Infectious Disease Tracker, to track diseases like hand-foot-and-mouth disease (HFMD).

According to Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin, the new function enables users to see hotspots for measles, rabies, HFMD and dengue in addition to COVID-19.

He highlighted the latest update of the MySejahtera via a recent Twitter post.

He also shared two screenshots of the updated application. Previously, the function worked as a HotspotTracker for COVID-19 cases.

He stated that the areas will be determined based on the total number of active cases at the vicinity of the user for each infectious disease.

Meanwhile, he advised members of the public to continue putting on face masks when at enclosed or crowded areas.

“I hope the Aidilfitri celebration is joyful with family. Continue to wear face masks at enclosed or crowded areas. Perform a self-test if symptomatic and report it via @my_sejahtera,” he added.
