The Perak State Women and Community Development Secretariat (Wanita Perak) will apply for additional allocation in next year’s budget especially for women development programmes.
Executive Councillor for Women and Family Development and Community Welfare, Datuk Dr Wan Noorashikin Wan Noordin stated that the allocation is necessary as the previous budget was reduced following the pandemic.
“For next year, we have planned to apply for additional funds to carry out programmes.
“For example, now we have a new programme named BizMan. It aims to assist men running small businesses as previously we had BizNita for women running small businesses. We provide equipment and guidance to them.
She said so to the media during the “Karnival Mesra Wanita Perak (Kawan Mesra) 2022” programme at Laman Seri Ridzuan on Tuesday.
