Orang Asli Entrepreneurs Carnival Returns After 2-Year Hiatus
The Orang Asli Entrepreneurs Carnival 2022 (KUOA 2022) is back after being put on hold for two years due to Covid-19.
The Department of Orang Asli Development (JAKOA) is organising the three-day event from June 24 to 26 at the Sultan Azlan Shah Amanjaya Meru Circle in Ipoh.
The main objective of this carnival is to provide a national-level platform for Orang Asli entrepreneurs to showcase their products through promotions and direct sales, to both the local community as well as foreign tourists.
There are also attractive tourism packages involving new tourism products such as Akekchep, Royal Belum State Park, Orang Asli Settlement in Sungai Tiang and Lata Kinjang Forest Eco Park, Tapah.
KUOA 2022 is able to improve the economic prospects of the Orang Asli entrepreneurs by providing more space and opportunities to generate income.
