Econsave has opened a new branch in Chemor today (July 1) and the public gets the opportunity to enjoy promotional prices in conjunction with this.
The Mayor of Ipoh, Dato’ Rumaizi Baharin @ Md Daud said that the opening of the new Econsave supermarket provides local residents a new place to shop.
“I’m informed that following the opening of this new branch, the public gets to enjoy 3 days of promotional prices starting from July 1 to 3.
“Take this opportunity to shop here, as the prices are very reasonable. The current ceiling price of raw chicken is RM9.40 per kilogram, but the promotional price for chicken for 2 days is only RM7.99.
“Econsave is a supermarket that is active in carrying out charitable activities through Econsave Prihatin which has greatly helped the less fortunate. It is also a strategic partner of the Ipoh City Council (MBI) in implementing the MBI Prihatin programme to help those impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic,” he said to Ipoh Echo after officiating the opening in Chemor today.
Econsave Chemor Branch Manager, Shah Effendy Rosman said Econsave Chemor is the 15th branch in Ipoh and the 17th in Perak.
“This branch offers a comfortable shopping experience to all the people throughout the city of Ipoh, especially the local residents around Meru, Chemor and more.
“We are offering promotional prices for selected items for 3 days in appreciation of the public’s support over the years. We always endeavor to ensure we have the best prices, in line with our objective to help and reach out to all.
“We also open business opportunities to the public who are interested in renting shop lots. This is a good opportunity to start a business as this new branch has received encouraging response.
