The Ipoh City Council (MBI) would like to thank and congratulate all those who successfully collected E-Waste in five selected locations with a total weight of 72 metric tons of E-Waste collected as of 18 August 2022.
It is hoped that this momentum will continue in the five parliamentary area locations that have been announced on all social media as well as the MBI and Department of Environment (DOE) portal. All locations have been approved by the DOE.
Collection hours start from 8.00 am to 1.00 pm on Saturday and Sunday, on the third week of every month until 30 November 2022. With the one for the month of August on 20 to 21.
The public is invited to participate by bringing E-Waste such as laptops, computers, mobile phones, refrigerators, air-conditioners, washing machines and other electrical and electronic equipment (excluding used lamps and used batteries) to be exchanged for cash.
Each entry has the chance to participate in a lucky draw prize in the form of cash amounting to RM10,000.00.
