Public talk by Kyabgon Phakchok Rinpoche on Meditation and Compassion

On Sunday the 16th of October 2022, Rangjung Yeshe Perak will be hosting Kyabgon Phakchok Rinpoche on his first return visit to Malaysia since his three-year strict retreat. In conjunction with this joyous occasion, Rangjung Yeshe Perak will be gifting 250 food hampers to impoverished families for Deepavali. The hampers, weighing approximately 16kgs, will contain essentials such as rice, lentils, oil, sugar, noodles, canned goods, detergent and other necessities.

In the evening, Rinpoche will also deliver a public talk on Meditation and Compassion, all are welcome to attend.

Rangjung Yeshe Perak, a small Tibetan Buddhist Centre in Ipoh, has hosted its annual food charity for the last eleven years. Focusing mainly on old folks and the disabled, recipients are invited to collect the hampers, with the aim of spreading festive joy. During the pandemic this was not possible and instead, food supplies were channelled towards orphanages and homes for the disabled and the elderly.
