Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MICCI) Perak Branch’s former Chairman, Dato’ Lim Si Boon hosted a Get-Together Dinner in conjunction with the Welcoming Dinner for its new Chairman, Mr. Jean-François Chavériat at The Meru Valley Resort.
The new MICCI Perak Branch’s Chairman, Mr. Jean-François Chavériat is Managing Director of Kurz Production (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd. He is also having a global responsibility in the German parent company, Leonhard Kurz Stiftung & Co. KG as Head of Business Area Industrial.
The Chairman thanked all present for the opportunity to lead the MICCI Perak Branch and reminded everyone that his first action as the new Chairman was to continue to grow the branch membership and to step up the collaborations with the local government on more projects. He also stressed that the branch needed to have more activities for its members as well as activities which will benefit its members. He understands that there is a need for newer facilities in the new office for members to enjoy as well.
Before the dinner started, a plaque was presented to Dato’ Lim Si Boon by Mr. Jean-François Chavériat for his many years of dedicated services as the former MICCI Perak Branch Chairman and as the MICCI’s General Committee Member.
Tokens of appreciation were also presented to Bonanza Venture Holdings Sdn Bhd, Quest International University, Micromechanics (M) Sdn Bhd and Camfil Malaysia Sdn Bhd for their kind sponsorship for the new MICCI Perak Office located at Greentown Business Centre, the prime business area in Ipoh, Perak.
The esteemed guests ended the get-together dinner with a group photo.
Among the esteemed guests present were state Industry, Investment and Corridor Development Committee Chairman Dato’ Shahrul Zaman Datuk Yahya, together with other state government agency officials and MICCI Perak Members.
