Protect the forest for future generations

The International Day of Forests that is celebrated every year should mark the beginning of a change in attitude regarding efforts to protect the environment for future generations.

This is because a healthy forest ecosystem that is rich in biodiversity is the basis of human existence.

For this reason, the tree planting programme became an event at the Perak State International Day of Forests 2022 recently.

Held at The Treasure@Taman Herba Gopeng, the programme was graced by the presence of Perak Director of State Forestry, Dato’ Mohamed Zin Yusop and Perak SADC Chief Executive Officer, Yahanis Yahya.

Also present were the Managing Director of The Treasure @Taman Herba Gopeng, Eidia Erriany Abdul Rahim and the Chairman of the Batu Gajah District Council, Mohamad Razif Ramli.

The International Day of Forests is celebrated to make people aware of the importance of forestry, its preservation and conservation for the well-being and stability of the environment.
