In conjunction with the celebration of the Chinese New Year 2023 (CNY2023), the Lost World Of Tambun Water Theme Park (LWOT) will further enliven the celebration with various programmes for the whole family.
LWOT General Manager, Nurul Nuzairi Mohd. Azahari said that with the continuation of the school holidays on 20 to 24 January 2023; that various interesting events will be served to the visitors of LWOT.
“In accordance with the year of the rabbit this year, the management of LWOT created Rabbit Wonderland with a more spacious and comfortable environment than before.
“This new area houses 250 rabbits consisting of 14 species. This new attraction gives visitors the opportunity to better appreciate the CNY2023 celebration, especially with children who really like these tame animals,” he said in a press conference in conjunction with the Spring Into New Beginning, Chinese New Year 2023 Launch Ceremony at LWOT today.
At the same time, Nurul Nuzairi also shared the excitement of CNY2023 where LWOT will serve two sessions of lion dance performances apart from other events that have been planned.
“The lion dance is so synonymous and is the main attraction. On 22 and 23 January 2023, visitors can enjoy a lion dance performance at the entrance of LWOT at 12.00 noon and an acrobatic lion dance performance inside the theme park.
“To further enliven the celebration in the evening, the theme park environment will be overflowing with the beauty of colourful lanterns.
“The Flaming Percussion performance is really looked forward to by the visitors. The night’s performance will promise a twist that will certainly be more challenging and impressive.
“In addition, equally enthralling side activities are also held, such as God of Prosperity, Dream Bunny and Luminous Dragon Dance. We estimate that six thousand visitors will visit LWOT,” he said.
The Spring Into New Beginning, Chinese New Year 2023 celebration will also take place at Sunway Theme Park, Sunway Lagoon from 20 to 29 January 2023.
