HRPB Parking Issue: Ipoh Mayor will discuss with Perak Police Chief

IPOH – The Mayor of Ipoh, Dato’ Rumaizi Baharin @Md Daud will discuss with the Perak Police Chief the issue of parking vehicles next to Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital (HRPB) road.

According to him, the problem of illegal parking and the summons levied in the area has long caused complaints from HRPB patients and visitors.

“This issue has been highlighted by the Perak Health, Human Resources, National Integration and Indian Community Affairs Exco, A Sivanesandan has been discussed with the Perak Police Chief recently.

“The police have given flexibility not to charge people who park their vehicles outside the grounds of HRPB.

“However, it is subject to several conditions, namely that the vehicle does not obstruct traffic and is not parked in a ‘double parking’ manner. The relaxation is likely until later in May after the new parking lot is ready.

“On behalf of the Ipoh City Council (MBI), I have arranged an appointment with the Perak Police Chief to discuss this matter. Any decision from the MB is likely to be based on the decision that has been agreed by the police with YB A Sivanesen,” he told Ipohecho after the bubur lambuk program at the MBI, here today.

The bubur lambuk program which started as early as 7.30 this morning involved the participation of MBI staff from the four main sectors, namely the Service, Technical, Financial and Administrative Sectors of MBI Operations.
