PCSH Ramadhan Sahur Tour Programme for frontline workers

By KT Leong

As early as 4 am in the morning, a total of approximately 20 Perak Community Specialist Hospital (PCSH) officers together with insurance partners have started the distribution of sahur (the morning meal eaten by Muslims during Ramadhan, before the sun comes up) meals to members on duty from several police station and fire station units around the city of Ipoh.

Among the stations involved are:

  1. Pinji Police Station
  2. Pengkalan Fire Station
  3. District Police Headquarters
  4. Perak Contingent Police Headquarters
  5. Federal Reserve Force (FRU) Unit 5 Ipoh

Mr. Nicholas Chan, Chief Executive Officer of PCSH said “Frontline officers are special people who always work hard regardless of the time to ensure the safety of the community. In conjunction with the month of Ramadan, PCSH has reached out to these heroes through the PCSH Ramadhan Sahur Tour Programme, to help ease the burden of the members who are on night shift duty as well as making it easier for them to have sahur at the same time as the rest of the community.”
