PDRM Perak’s Unity Mega Cycling Event Joins Multiracial Community

IPOH – Over 1,700 participants, including members of the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) and residents of Ipoh, took part in the PDRM Perak Unity Mega Cycling Event yesterday morning.

The “Fun Ride” cycling event, which aimed to strengthen the bond between PDRM Perak personnel and the community, carried the theme “Police and the Community Inseparable.”

The cycling event commenced at 7:00 am and lasted until 1:00 pm, covering a total of 13 routes around the city of Ipoh. Participants were offered two categories to choose from: Town Ride, spanning 15KM, and Urban Ride, spanning 50KM.

The event was inaugurated by Dato’ Mazlan Abd Rahman, representing the Mayor of Ipoh, at the Stadium Indera Mulia.

The Perak State Police Chief, Datuk Seri Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri, and the Deputy Perak State Police Chief, Datuk Azizi Mat Aris, were also present.

Among the participants were Perak State Government Exco members, YB Sandrea Ng Shy Ching and YB Salbiah Mohamed.
