A program to help small-scale women entrepreneurs, the Perak State Women’s E-Jualan Wanita Program (E-Juwita) was launched at Dewan Orang Ramai, Kampung Raban, here yesterday.
The main focus of the program is to help them market their products through digital platforms such as Lazada, Shopee, Tiktok and so on.
The E-Juwita program will be carried out in 24 parliamentary constituencies in the state of Perak through the selected Economic and Digital Center (PEDi) where it will benefit 720 women entrepreneurs.
In addition, the modules used in the program will be implemented by IGB Training & Consultancy which is a Skills Training Center and among the modules applied are Business Model Canvas (BMC); Branding and Packaging; Content Marketing and Trade and Branding.
Among the implementing agencies involved in making this program a success are the Sekretariat Pembangunan Wanita dan Masyarakat (Wanita Perak), Perak State Entrepreneur Secretariat (STeP) and Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) Perak State.
Menteri Besar Perak, Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad was present to launch the program.
Also present at the launch, Chairman of the Women’s Development Committee, Family, Social Welfare, State Entrepreneur Development, Salbiah Mohamed; Chairman of the State Communications, Multimedia and NGO Committee, Azlan Helmi; The Chairman of Lenggong District Council, Mohd Amzari Mohd Arzami; Wanita Perak Director, Jamilah Zakaria and STeP Director, Mohamad Rozlan Mohamad Razali.
