LUMUT – Thousands of visitors are expected to attend the Malaysian Armed Forces (ATM) Day Carnival, which will be held at the Royal Malaysian Navy (TLDM) base in Lumut from October 13 to 15.
The official launch of the ATM Day Carnival was carried out today by the Chief of the Malaysian Armed Forces, General Tan Sri Datuk Seri Mohammad bin Ab Rahman.
The event is organised in conjunction with the celebration of the 90th anniversary of the Malaysian Armed Forces, held in Lumut this year.
This three-day event, starting on Thursday, can also be a weekend getaway for parents to bring their children.
Various activities are planned for the day, aimed to bring the ATM closer to the community.
The admission for the carnival event, which runs from 9 am until 5 pm, is free.
