The Memory Walk 2023 is an upcoming event that aims to raise awareness about dementia and support the BebeLEC Dementia Day Care Centre. The event will take place at Polo Ground in Ipoh on November 26th , 2023. The Dementia Society Perak is organising this event, and once again promises to be more than just a walk. Participants can enjoy a range of activities that will warm your hearts and invigorate your spirits.
The event will kick off with the rhythmic beats of Zumba, which will infuse the air with energy and enthusiasm. Participants can also witness performances by the remarkable clients of BebeLEC Centre, showcasing the strength and resilience of those facing dementia.The handicraft booths will be another highlight of the event, where the talents of individuals within our community, including the underprivileged, will be on display. It’s an opportunity to connect, appreciate, and support the creativity that thrives in the heart of Ipoh.
Participants of Memory Walk 2023 will receive a goodie bag, which includes essentials like water, muffins, Chek Hup coffee, and informative brochures. There will also be exciting prizes through periodic lucky draws. From a microwave oven to generous hampers, the rewards are a celebration of the collective effort to make a difference.
