IPOH: IPOH: The wooden house at Lat House Gallery is temporarily closed to visitors from January 19 to March 8, 2024, for maintenance work.
The matter is announced by the Perak State Museum Board (LMNP).
Meanwhile, the souvenir shop is also closed because LMNP is working to increase the merchandise stock at the Galeri Rumah Lat souvenir shop.
The statement also informs that the cafe in Galeri Rumah Lat has not yet started operating.
In connection with this, LMNP apologizes for any inconvenience to visitors.
The Lat’s House Gallery in Batu Gajah was officially opened in July last year and simultaneously opened to visitors.
This gallery gathers all the renowned works of the cartoonist from our homeland, Lat, also known by his real name, Datuk Mohammad Nor Mohammad Khalid.
The gallery complex comprises a replica of a traditional Perak wooden house, known as Rumah Lat, and a gallery.
The Rumah Lat Gallery is managed under LMNP.
