IPOH: The non-governmental organization (NGO), Aman Wardah, continues its role in assisting the community by reaching out to residents of two orphanages here.

It involves residents from two welfare homes, Rumah Anak-Anak Yatim Budi Mulia Nurul Huda in Tanah Hitam and Yayasan An Nur Maisarah in Chemor.

Through the Cakna Madani Aman Wardah Program with Orphans, a total of 120 residents from these welfare homes received assistance.

Aman Wardah’s Chairman, Azana Rita Abd Aziz, mentioned that they received funding from the Prime Minister’s Department to carry out this program.

She explained that the funds were used to purchase various necessities for the orphans’ homes, such as ovens, electric rice cookers, industrial-sized blenders for the residents, three laptops, and two printers.

Additional items provided included bunk beds, wardrobes, pillows, bedspreads, fans, and various electrical appliances, as mentioned in her interview with Ipoh Echo / Peraktastic.

Azana Rita highlighted that daily essentials like toothbrushes, toothpaste, bath soap, laundry detergent, and others were also donated.

The orphans were given Aman Wardah T-shirts and served lunch from Marrybrown.

She mentioned that representatives from the Prime Minister’s Department, the fund contributor, also attended the program.
