IPOH: The issue of waste accumulation at the bus stop shelter on Raja Ekram Road has captured the attention of the Ipoh City Council (MBI).
Immediate cleaning efforts were undertaken by MBI personnel as soon as the waste concern gained traction on social media platforms such as the Facebooks of Ipoh Echo and Peraktastic.
According to an official statement from MBI, waste-cleaning activities at the bus station have been regularly carried out. However, the irresponsible actions of a minority in discarding refuse at the site are deeply regrettable.
“MBI hopes that the public will collaborate in addressing the littering issue to ensure the cleanliness of the city of Ipoh,” the statement emphasized.
