Hobbitoon Village, the New OOTD Destination!

By: Rosli Mansor Ahmad Razali

Inspired by the fantasy films of J.R.R. Tolkien, The Hobbit, and The Lord of the Rings, Hobbiton Village has emerged as the latest tourism icon in the state of Perak, Malaysia.

Located approximately 50 kilometres from Ipoh, bordering Simpang Pulai and Cameron Highlands, Pahang, Hobbiton Village transports visitors into the imaginative world of Middle-earth, specifically the Hobbit villages of the Shire depicted in the blockbuster movies.

You don’t need to spend a lot to see the Hobbit houses located in Matamata, Waikato, New Zealand. Hobbiton Village is a tourism project managed within a cool and misty environment, nestled across approximately 7 acres of hilly terrain.

Amidst the cool and misty atmosphere, excitement fills the air as visitors marvel at the unique Hobbit Houses surrounded by a variety of fresh blooms, transporting them into the realm of dwarf communities akin to those in the movies.

Along the slightly uphill path, fatigue is nowhere to be felt as this presents the perfect opportunity for an ‘Outfit of the Day’ (OOTD) moment, catering to the needs of social media content creation.

Upon reaching the summit, visitors can relax in a cafe surrounded by breathtaking natural scenery while indulging in classic offerings such as Fish & Chips and Chicken Chops.

Ticket prices are as follows: Adults (RM40), Children and senior citizens aged 60 and above (RM20). For school excursions, primary school students (RM10), secondary school students (RM20), and teachers (RM20).
