IPOH: Perak entrepreneurs are exploring economic opportunities by participating in the Consumer Fair & Trade Expo 2025 at the International Convention Centre (ICC), Berakas, Brunei Darussalam.
The event, which will take place from June 25 to 29, 2025, involves 18 entrepreneurs, including eight who are joining the program at their own expense.
Through this initiative, the state government is targeting potential cash sales of at least RM700 million and potential contracts and exports worth at least RM1 million.
This move will also create opportunities for other Perak entrepreneurs to promote their products in international markets.
Such programs are a testament to the fact that Perak’s entrepreneurs and brands are capable of competing and penetrating global markets.
This goal can be achieved through continuous support and integrated guidance from various entrepreneurial agencies.
As a symbolic gesture of participation, a send-off ceremony for a container of Perak entrepreneurs’ products was held at the RTC Gopeng grounds.
The event was officiated by the Perak State Executive Councillor for Rural Development, Plantations, Agriculture and Food Industry, Dato’ Zolkafly Harun.
Also present was the State Executive Councillor for Women Development, Family, Social Welfare, Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives, Dato’ Salbiah Mohamed.
