The spirit of youth was on full display as the Ministry of Youth and Sports, in collaboration with the Perak State Youth and Sports Department, hosted the National Youth Day 2025 celebration over the weekend at the Perak Youth and Sports Complex.

Officiating the event was Khairudin Abu Hanipah, the Perak State Executive Councillor for Education, Higher Education, Youth, and Sports. In his speech, Khairudin emphasized the importance of equipping young Malaysians with the right values, skills, and opportunities to contribute meaningfully to society. He also encouraged the youth to be proactive in community engagement and national development.
The main objective for the National Youth Day is to explore the spirit, energy and extraordinary potential of the youths where they are the pillars of hope for the nation. The event brought together thousands of young people from across the state, creating a vibrant space for learning, sharing, and celebrating youth achievements.
The ex-Buntong Member of the State Assembly Youth Council, Khuswindera Singh A/L Tara Singh shared his message about the event. “On National Youth Day 2025, let’s wish for the youth to embrace and celebrate the diversity that enriches our nation.”
“Wishing the youth in Malaysia for good health and wellbeing as they embark on their journeys,” said Khuswindera Singh on expressing his gratitude to the youth.
The event featured a wide range of activities designed to engage and celebrate young individuals from all walks of life. Attendees enjoyed over 20 food and beverage stalls, as well as exciting showcases and interactive segments across more than 10 thematic ‘ports’. These included the E-Sports Port, Pets Grooming Port, FYP Port, and the Pavilion Port by Rakan Muda, among others. Each port offered unique experiences, providing opportunities for learning, networking, and entertainment.
The National Youth Day 2025 celebration in Perak served as a powerful reminder of the importance of investing in young people.
