by KT Leong

In 2022, Junior Chambers International (JCI) Kinta ran their flagship event, the Kinta Food Hero, as covered by Ipoh Echo here.

Well, they’re back, this time, with Kinta Food Hero 2.0, which will take place from 9 am to 3 pm on 22 June, at People’s Park, Old Town Ipoh.

This event invites the public to form teams of four in an exploration of the city that combines food, culture and adventure. Participants will travel from one participating vendor to the next, where they will enjoy food tastings and take on fun activities, all while discovering and learning about the Ipoh and its diverse culinary gems.

This is a chance for families and foodies alike to enjoy good food, good times and great discoveries of local cuisine.

Each participant will receive a kit consisting of an event T-shirt, a goodie bag, vouchers and more, while also being eligible for a lucky draw and prizes worth up to RM2,000.00. A participation fee of RM90 for adults and RM45 for children under 12 is required and registration can be done here:
