Art That Inspires: A Free Exhibition in the Heart of Ipoh

By Yashila Issabelle
Hey Ipoh! Wondering what to do around town this week as the holidays approach? We’ve got the perfect, free activity for you!
Head down to the heart of Ipoh’s tourism (right near Concubine Lane) at 22 Hale Street for a special art exhibition.

Running until October 22nd, this heartwarming show features incredible artwork from talented kids, including young artists with autism, as young as six years old. (Check the Schedule below for timings.)

Every Stroke Matters
The exhibition, aptly themed “Every Stroke Matters,” is a vibrant celebration of creativity and unique talent. Every piece and every line carries deep meaning.
It’s a powerful platform that gives every child a place to be seen and celebrated, fostering a spirit of inclusivity, expression, and nurturing talent.

You’ll see a diverse range of artworks from students of Craftnesh Quillingart (Art & Dance Studio, Falim, Ipoh), spanning beginners to advanced learners.
Each piece is a pure reflection of the student’s individuality, effort, and wild imagination.
Look out for:
- Acrylic & watercolour paintings
- Pencil & color pencil works
- Mixed-media artworks
- A special Autism Art Showcase

Connect with the Artists
As you wander through the exhibition, take the time to read the display for each piece, which will feature the student’s name, age, and a short story or description about their work.
Don’t miss the special highlights on works by children with autism.

For those looking to take a piece of inspiration home, selected artworks will be available for sale.
You’ll also have the chance to meet and greet some of the young student artists themselves!
Your presence means the world to them. By simply showing up, you help these children feel seen, heard, loved, and truly appreciated for the beautiful expressions they offer through art.
It’s a chance to encourage young creators, raise awareness for child autism artists, build community, and perhaps even collect deeply meaningful student artwork.

Entrance is free!
This wonderful event is brought to you by Craftnesh Quillingart Studio in Falim, and organized by Siveneswari Selvaraj.
The launch on the 11th was a success, honored by the presence and support of Professor Maran Marimuthu from the Department of Management, Universiti Teknologi Petronas, who officiated the exhibition.
