Visit to Kinta and Perak Tengah to Review Potential Tourism Products

IPOH: Several strategic locations in the districts of Kinta and Perak Tengah were visited to identify tourism products that could be further developed, thereby creating economic opportunities for local residents.

The visit was led by the Chairman of the Perak State Committee for Tourism, Industry, Investment, and Corridor Development, Loh Sze Yee, together with representatives from Tourism Perak.

During the visit, he also observed and personally listened to feedback and opinions from representatives at each tourism location.

In addition, traditional food was also a focus, as many traditional dishes have the potential to attract more visitors to various districts.

“This visit also focuses on efforts to strengthen the tourism sector at the district level through the expansion and development of tourism products that can attract more tourists to Perak,” he said.

Among the locations visited were Lubuk Timah Recreational Centre, Kellie’s Castle, the Royal Residence of the Late Sultan Azlan Shah, Tronoh Town, and Papan Gallery.

Meanwhile, in Perak Tengah, the locations included Laman Tanjung Belanja, Pulau Cempakasari, Royale Tilapia, and Dato’ Sagor Circuit.
