GOPENG: Residents, especially those in the Teja state constituency and Gopeng parliamentary area, are invited to attend the Temu Rakyat: Parlimen Gopeng 2.0 programme this Sunday at Taman Reaksi, Taman Kinta.
The programme, organised by the Gopeng parliamentary and state constituency service centres, will run from 7.30 am to 12 pm.
A variety of activities have been lined up, offering direct benefits to the local community.
The initiative aims to engage with the public more comprehensively by providing a platform for residents to voice complaints, obtain information, and interact directly with relevant government agency representatives.
Among the main attractions are the Public Complaints Counter, booths by various government agencies, activities for youths and women, as well as a community feast expected to draw participation from all walks of life.
The programme is also seen as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen ties between leaders and the community, while ensuring the welfare and needs of the people continue to be prioritised.
Members of the public are encouraged to take the opportunity to attend in large numbers and make full use of the services provided.
