IPOH: A stretch of uneven road frequently covered with stagnant water and foul odours near a rubbish disposal area behind Family Court Food Court in Taman Ipoh here has been cleaned and resurfaced.
Ipoh City Council (MBI) Canning Zone councillor Lam Yew Tact said he received complaints from residents regarding the issue.
He said the unclean surface near the rubbish disposal area had caused water to accumulate, resulting in unpleasant odours that affected the cleanliness and comfort of the surrounding area.
“I informed the Ipoh City Council (MBI) about the matter and requested that the area be resurfaced to ensure a more even surface, prevent stagnant water from accumulating and facilitate cleaning works.
“Thank you to MBI for taking swift action by carrying out resurfacing works in the area,” he said.
