IPOH – A total of 812 new teachers have begun their duties as members of Perak’s education community.

Of the total, 232 have been placed in secondary schools, 537 in primary schools, 42 in the Islamic Education Division and one in the Special Education Division.

The placement of the new teachers is expected to inject fresh energy into the teaching profession in line with the development of the Madani generation.

The educators are also among the drivers of the aspirations outlined in the Malaysia Education Plan 2026–2035, particularly in strengthening the quality of education in the state.

Following a briefing at TVET MARA Lenggong, the programme continued with the presentation of placement letters to the new teachers by the Director of the Perak State Education Department.

The programme also featured the Nyala Rasa session delivered by Deputy Director of the School Management Sector, Ahmad Faidzul Mat Yazid.

The session served as a platform for two-way interaction between school management leadership and newly appointed DG9 Education Service Officers.

It also provided an opportunity to convey aspirations, clarify expectations, and develop an understanding of work culture, professionalism, integrity, discipline and good governance.
