IPOH – Perak Housing and Local Government Committee Chairman, Sandrea Ng Shy Ching, has officially been conferred the title of Dato’ after receiving the Darjah Dato’ Paduka Mahkota Perak (DPMP) in conjunction with the 2026 Birthday Celebration of the Sultan of Perak.
She is among 14 recipients of the DPMP, which carries the title of Dato’.
Also receiving the same honour were Ipoh Mayor, Zamakhshari Hanipah, and Perak State Deputy Secretary (Development), Halizah Sipun.
Other recipients include Perak Water Board General Manager, Ir. Lokman Abd Rahim; Chief Executive Officer of the Perak State Agricultural Development Corporation, Mohd Azhar Mohd Yusof; and Head of the Emergency and Trauma Department at Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun, Dr. Adi Osman.
Also conferred the DPMP were Perak State Education Department Director, Zulkafli Mohamed Mokhtar, and Perak Public Works Department Director, Ir. Zamri bin Mat Kasim.
Meanwhile, eight recipients were awarded the Darjah Dato’ Pahlawan Taming Sari (DPTS), which carries the title of Dato’ Pahlawan.
Among the recipients were Perak Deputy Police Chief, DCP Mohammad Azlin Sadari; Northern Brigade General Operations Force Commander, SAC Balveer Singh Mahindar Singh; and Commander of the Royal Malaysian Navy’s Training and Doctrine Command, Rear Admiral Kamaruddin Omar.
The investiture ceremonies for the Perak State Orders, Decorations and Medals for this year will be held in two sessions on November 15 and 21 at the Balairong Seri, Istana Iskandariah, Kuala Kangsar.
A total of 218 individuals will receive Perak State Orders, Decorations and Medals in conjunction with the celebration.
Leading the list of recipients is Secretary-General of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability, Datuk Wira Anis Rizana Mohd Zainuddin.
She has been conferred the Darjah Dato’ Seri Paduka Mahkota Perak (SPMP), which carries the title of Dato’ Seri.
