Ipoh- The Kinta & Kita Geopark Community Festival kicked off today at Gunung Lang Community Park and will run until November 9, 2025.


Themed ‘Rhythm of Community Arts and Education’, the festival brings together elements of culture, creativity, and local traditions under one platform.
Organised by the Perak State Parks Corporation with the support of Kinta Valley Geopark, the event aims to strengthen community spirit through educational, artistic, and heritage-based activities that reflect the unique identity of the Kinta district.
Among the festival’s highlights are geological and archaeological science exhibitions, Kinta fossil displays, rock climbing, cave explorations, and the Ipoh Heritage Trail, offering visitors a fun and educational experience.
Other engaging programmes include interactive workshops, coffee sharing sessions, art and craft clinics, green market activities, as well as archery and horseback riding sessions.
Visitors will also be treated to art performances, local product showcases, and multicultural experiences, making the festival a vibrant meeting point for creativity and community spirit.
Admission to the festival is free of charge, featuring a relaxed “Outdoor & Picnic Mood” concept that welcomes visitors of all ages and families to enjoy the weekend together.
