TAIPING: The irresponsible and negligent actions of cattle owners who let their animals roam freely on the road near Batu 5, Jalan Simpang to Changkat Jering here pose a danger to road users.
An individual shared the incident on social media, claiming that he almost hit the animals, which were left wandering on the road in large numbers.

The incident occurred at 1:46 a.m., with the livestock roaming around, including in the middle of the roadway.
If this continues and road users fail to notice in time, fatal accidents could occur due to the careless and irresponsible attitude of those who own these animals.
This matter should be taken seriously by the authorities, especially since many similar cases of unattended livestock roaming freely have been reported around Perak.

As a result, when an accident happens, no one wants to admit ownership of the livestock involved, and such incidents continue to occur without justice for the victims.
“Who is the idiot who let these cows loose at dawn (1:46 a.m.) at Batu 5, Jalan Simpang to Changkat Jering? There were over a dozen of them on the road, right on the divider. If I had hit them, I’d be dead on the spot,” the individual said.
However, this issue does not only occur in Taiping but is widespread throughout Perak. How long must we continue to face this problem while irresponsible animal owners turn a blind eye?
