MBI, Buntong ADUN Conduct Follow-Up Visit on Community Complaints

IPOH: Several locations within the Buntong area here were visited by the Ipoh City Council (MBI) following complaints and issues raised by local residents.

Among the matters involved were issues of stagnant water at the field along Laluan Sungai Pari 14, Taman Mas, as well as an inspection of upgrading works at the Madani Recreational Park on Persiaran Desa Rishah 13, Desa Rishah.

The visit also covered issues related to the maintenance of buildings and facility amenities at Taman Harmoni Flats, as well as problems concerning a drain upgrading project and related works along Jalan Sungai Pari.

Several issues identified will be acted upon promptly, with implementation processes expedited to ensure that public facilities can be used more comfortably and safely by the local community.

The visit also reflects MBI’s commitment to ensuring that every public complaint receives due attention, while supporting the development of Ipoh as a prosperous, safe, and sustainable city.

MBI hopes that all issues raised can be addressed progressively through close cooperation among all stakeholders for the well-being and harmony of the local community.

Earlier, the visit was led by Ipoh City Secretary Ahmad Munir Ishak and the Buntong State Legislative Assembly Member (ADUN), Thulsi Thivani a/p Manogaran.

Also present were MBI City Councillors, heads of MBI departments, and representatives from relevant government agencies, namely the Perak State Department of Irrigation and Drainage (JPS) and the Perak Water Board (LAP).
