UTC Perak Closes Operations for Three Days in Conjunction with Wesak Day, Agong’s Birthday

IPOH: The Urban Transformation Centre (UTC) Perak will suspend operations for three days in conjunction with the Wesak Day celebration and the official birthday of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong.

According to a notice issued by the management, the closure will take place from May 31 to June 2, 2026.

Wesak Day falls on Sunday, May 31, followed by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong’s Birthday on Monday, June 1, while the replacement holiday for Wesak Day will be observed on Tuesday, June 2.

Members of the public intending to conduct transactions or access services at UTC Perak are advised to plan their visits in advance to avoid inconvenience.

UTC Perak is expected to resume operations as usual on Wednesday, June 3, 2026.
