IPOH: A long-standing public complaint over a missing drain cover along Jalan Raja Musa Aziz here has finally been addressed after the relevant authorities completed the installation.
An Ipoh resident who had raised the issue with Ipoh Echo/Peraktastic expressed relief and gratitude that the problem had been resolved, saying the repair would improve safety for road users.
“After years of highlighting the issue at Jalan Raja Musa Aziz, the drain cover has finally been installed to ensure the safety of the public,” the resident said.
Previously, the Ipoh City Council (MBI) said in a statement that works to install drain covers at the junction of Jalan Panglima Bukit Gantang Wahab and Jalan Raja Musa Aziz would be carried out in June.
