IPOH – The JomBantu Programme under PUBI Perak continued its community outreach by delivering two wheelchairs to two individuals facing health challenges.
PUBI Group Chairman, Sharul Baha Abd Rahman, said the assistance was provided through home visits conducted earlier today.
The first recipient was 41-year-old Puan Nisa, who suffered a broken leg after slipping and now requires a wheelchair to assist with her mobility and daily activities.
The team also visited 47-year-old Puan Nurul, who has been diagnosed with a slipped disc and a pinched nerve, leaving her bedridden.
Sharul Baha said both recipients needed wheelchairs to ease their movement and support their daily care.
He explained that the JomBantu Wheelchair Rental Programme offers wheelchairs at a nominal fee of RM1 per month, making the service affordable for those in need.
He added that the smiles and relief shown by the recipients and their family members served as a strong motivation for the team to continue its charitable efforts.
He reaffirmed PUBI Group’s commitment to helping the community for as long as it has the strength and resources to do so.
Sharul Baha also expressed his appreciation to all donors and volunteers who continue to support JomBantu’s welfare initiatives for the benefit of the community.
