IPOH: The bus stop is meant to be a place for the public to wait for transportation, such as buses, but the situation is different at the bus stop in front of Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital (HRPB) here.
An Ipoh resident reported that the bus stop in front of HRPB has a very strong urine smell, with the presence of an individual believed to be a homeless person sleeping behind the bench.
She said that, similar to a previous report by Ipoh Echo/Peraktastic about an elderly person living in filth at the bus stop in front of Green Town Health Clinic, the situation here is quite similar.
“I managed to take a picture of the individual sleeping at the bus stop in front of HRPB. The smell at this bus stop is very bad due to urine.
“I urge the authorities to clean this bus stop immediately and look into the needs of the individual, whether he is still sleeping or camping here.
“This bus stop is used by many people, especially those frequently entering and leaving HRPB, including hospital staff. Many wait for buses or their relatives here. The foul smell and dirty environment certainly cause inconvenience to everyone,” she told Ipoh Echo/Peraktastic.
