IPOH – A total of 15,966 blood bags have been successfully collected by Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital (HRPB) so far this year.
The achievement was made possible through the contributions of members of the public who came forward to donate blood to help patients in need.
The Transfusion Medicine Department of Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital (HRPB) Ipoh said the continuous support of blood donors is crucial to ensuring an adequate blood supply.
“Continue the good deed and become a regular blood donor to help save more lives.
“Every blood donation is meaningful as it can help save the lives of patients receiving treatment at the hospital,” the department said in a statement.
The HRPB Transfusion Medicine Department also expressed its appreciation and gratitude to all donors for their concern and continued support.
The public is also encouraged to make blood donation a regular practice.
