IPOH, PERAK, 5 SEPTEMBER 2026 — Anthony Lim Jing Shen and Siti Nur Husna Aima Bt Abd Abd Karim Nast were crowned the Men’s and Ladies’ Gross Champions of the 68th Perak Amateur Open 2026 following the conclusion of the three-day championship at Meru Valley Golf & Country Club.
Their victories also earned both champions automatic entry to the 122nd Malaysia Open 2026 in Sarawak this December.
Anthony, playing off a handicap of 5, captured the Men’s Gross title with a three-day total of 219, finishing three strokes ahead of Hayden Hah Hsien Yang (H’cap 2) on 222. Meru Valley Golf & Country Club’s current Men’s Club Champion, Teh Chew Choong (H’cap 2), finished third on 229.
In the Ladies’ Gross, scratch golfer Siti Nur Husna Aima secured the championship with a three-day total of 223, edging Nur Diana Syafiqah Abdullah (H’cap 3) by two strokes. Nur Diana finished on 225, while former Meru Valley Ladies’ Club Champion Evelyn Yeoh (H’cap 3) took third place with 236.
In the Net categories, Nabil bin Azali (H’cap 14) claimed the Men’s Net title with a three-day net total of 200, while Hiroka Yamamoto (H’cap 12) was crowned Ladies’ Net Champion with 205.
The conclusion of the 68th edition marked another successful chapter for the Perak Amateur Open, with the organisers extending their congratulations to all winners and participants, as well as their appreciation to the sponsors, partners, tournament officials, volunteers and organising team for their support in making the championship a success.
For Anthony and Siti Nur Husna Aima, their victories now take them beyond the Perak Amateur Open, with both champions set to compete at the 122nd Malaysia Open in Sarawak this December.
