IPOH – Malaysia Day celebration in Ipoh is set to take on a different atmosphere this year with the KULTURA x KERETAPI SARONG IPOH 2026 event.
Taking place at Ipoh Padang today and tomorrow, the event brings together elements of art, culture, music, handicrafts, community and lifestyle in one vibrant celebration.
The programme runs from 4pm to 1am on both days.
Among the main highlights are the Pekan Popup and cultural performances held throughout the programme.
The highlight will be the Keretapi Sarong Ipoh event, scheduled for September 16 in conjunction with Malaysia Day.
Meanwhile, KRAFLOKAL at Lorong Seni showcases local handicrafts such as gold-thread embroidery, batik, labu sayong and pottery.
The programme also brings together more than 50 vendors offering a variety of products, including thrift items, accessories, handicrafts, coffee and desserts.
Visitors can also enjoy a wide selection of food and beverages while watching cultural performances.
