IPOH – A total of 2,301 property units are being offered to prospective buyers with a variety of attractive deals at the Malaysia Property Exhibition (MAPEX) Perak 2026, held at AEON Kinta City here.
This edition of MAPEX features the participation of 23 developers operating 30 exhibition booths, with an estimated Gross Development Value (GDV) of RM1.2 billion.
MAPEX Perak 2026 runs until October 18, from 10 am to 10 pm.

REHDA Perak chairman Ir. Loh Ban Ho said the exhibition is one of the key initiatives by the Real Estate and Housing Developers’ Association Malaysia (REHDA) to connect property developers with prospective homebuyers.
He said MAPEX also provides the public with an opportunity to compare property options, understand financing facilities and make purchasing decisions based on their financial capabilities.
“Perak has significant potential to attract homebuyers, investors and businesses due to its competitive cost of living, infrastructure and attractive cultural heritage.
“Housing development needs to go hand in hand with employment opportunities, transport facilities, public infrastructure and economic investment,” he said.

MAPEX Perak 2026 was officially launched earlier by Perak State Housing and Local Government Committee chairman Sandrea Ng Shy Ching, who represented the Menteri Besar of Perak.
In his speech, Loh said REHDA Perak also hoped the state government would strengthen online application and monitoring systems for local authorities and utility-related matters.
In addition, housing policies and compliance requirements should be reviewed to ensure they remain practical and aligned with the state’s property market conditions.

Loh said closer coordination between government agencies and utility providers was also essential to expedite approvals, reduce costs arising from delays and ensure homes could be completed according to schedule.
He expressed hope that continued cooperation between REHDA Perak, the state government and relevant agencies would benefit developers and homebuyers while contributing to Perak’s overall economic growth.
