IPOH: More than 100 residents took part in a MADANI gotong-royong programme organised by the Taman Pengkalan Jaya Neighbourhood Watch (KRT) to clean up and beautify their neighbourhood.
The programme, held at the Taman Pengkalan Jaya KRT Cabin, was officiated by state assemblyman Goh See Hua and attended by Ipoh City Council (MBI) councillor Basri Mohammad Nor.
Activities included painting the cabin’s pillars and beautifying its surroundings, as well as the field in front of Masjid Al Furqan.

The initiative aimed to create a cleaner, tidier and more attractive environment for residents.
It also provided an opportunity for members of the community to strengthen relationships while fostering cooperation, unity and a shared responsibility for maintaining the cleanliness and well-being of their neighbourhood.
The encouraging turnout reflected residents’ commitment to community activities and efforts to strengthen ties between the public and local leaders.
