Welfare Visit

General Officer Commanding 4th Malaysian Infantry Division, Major-General Dato’ Pahlawan Redzuan Hj Baharuddin and wife recently visited the home of Corporal Azme Salam whose 9-year-old son suffers from congenital hydrocephalus. Living in Kampung Kepayang in Simpang Pulai, Muhammad Harith Amsyar Azme was born with an excessive accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid in the brain and is currently receiving treatment at the general hospital every three months.

On a separate day, Dato’ Pahlawan Redzuan and his wife paid a visit to the home of Corporal Abdul Mutalib Azizan whose 5-year-old son, Muhammad Khairyl Arman Abdul Mutalib suffers from the same condition. Hailing from Sangro Circle in Taiping, Khairyl is bedridden and receiving treatment from the Taiping Hospital every two months.

Contributions were presented to Corporal Azme and Corporal Abdul Mutalib, who are both members of Ipoh-based 2nd Malaysian Infantry Brigade.
