A property developer with an established presence in Johor and Melaka is expanding its operations in Perak. Scientex proudly announced its arrival in the silver state with the launching of Scientex Meru on Saturday, March 18.
It was officiated by managing director Lim Peng Jin and witnessed by members of its board of directors. According to the company’s sales and marketing manager, Klly Chong the Meru project consists of 556 units of terrace and semi-detached houses and condominiums.
“It’s a gated cum guarded community with a private clubhouse still under construction. The whole project is expected to complete in 2019.
“The project’s proximity to a forest reserve will help create a refreshingly green and relaxing atmosphere that’ll benefit its residents,” she said. The 2-storey link terrace houses are priced from RM338,800 onwards.
Visitors, mainly from Ipoh, registered as early as 9am to witness the ceremony and to get more information about the development project.
Following the launch some exciting activities and games were held for the benefit of those present. They included a lion dance performance, sand art, a cash-grab game, photo booths and clown acts.
Guests were served local food and beverages throughout the day. They were entertained by two radio deejays, Baki Zainal and Jack Lim.
Scientex presently develops two parcels of land in Ipoh. One is in Meru while the other is in Klebang. The Klebang project was officially launched in January this year.
Scientex Meru is strategically located. It is within striking distance of Tenby International School, government offices and Asia’s first animation theme park, the Movie Animation Park Studios (MAPS).
The public can view Scientex Meru’s show houses from 10am to 6pm daily. For additional details call 05 525 2216.
