Pantai Hospital Appointed as a PPV

Pantai Hospital is officially appointed as a vaccination centre (PPV) starting July 19.

Pantai Hospital Ipoh Chief Executive Officer, Chong Siet Fong said her party also joined hands to assist the state government’s efforts in ensuring the vaccines are administered quickly to the population.

“We have accepted the appointment as a state-level PPV via ProtecHealth Corporation Sdn Bhd on behalf of the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH).

“The recent courtesy visit of the Perak Menteri Besar, Dato’ Saarani Mohamad, gave encouragement and support to our frontliners in helping to improve the vaccination process.

“The current situation of the pandemic, especially in Perak, is very worrying. I hope all the frontliners will always persevere in carrying out the responsibilities entrusted to them,” she said in a media statement today (July 26).

She further said that a total of 200 vaccine injections will be given to the public every day in compliance with the Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs).
