The Lost World Of Tambun (LWOT) is an ideal location to form sweet memories of celebrating the Chinese New Year with family.
Beginning February 1 till 15, LWOT will offer reunion activities and feasts in a peaceful and exclusive setting.
General Manager of LWOT, Nurul Nuzairi Mohd Azahari said that when it comes to organising reunion activities, most Malaysians prefer to be with family members in open areas.
According to him, such facilities are offered at both Sunway Hotel and LWOT.
“We focus on smaller scale activities in the theme park to prevent crowds.
“The same goes for the beach dinner where visitors will be divided into groups according to families to prevent congestion,” he stated.
He said so after the launch of the Chinese New Year Reunion celebration at LWOT yesterday.
At the same event, LWOT also introduced two tigers loaned from the Sungkai Wildlife Conservation Centre to be displayed at its Tiger Valley.
The presence of the two tigers named Dana and Jewel is significant as Chinese New Year falls on the year of the tiger.
Nurul Nuzairi added that visitors can choose to hold reunion dinners with a barbecue at the man-made beach with a sunset view.
“There will also be lion dances and distribution of angpau (red packets) and mandarin oranges to promote goodwill,” he shared.
