The city of Ipoh has been chosen to host the 24th National Landscape Day from 3 to 5 March 2023 which will be held at Taman DR Seenivasagam.
Ipoh city mayor, Dato’ Rumaizi Baharin @ Md Daud said, after receiving a courtesy visit from the Director General of the National Landscape Department, Roslee Abdullah at the Anggerik Room, Ipoh City Council, today.
“The organisation of the 24th National Landscape Day emphasises the new normal culture of leisure and recreation in public parks.
“Furthermore, through this programme, we are able to promote the cultivation of landscape in the municipal area in addition to the development of the country’s landscape industry.
“The event, which will last for three days, involves activities with industry activists, the community and students of Public Institutions of Higher Education (IPTA),” he said in a statement today.
At the same time, officers from the National Landscape Department and the MBI Landscape Department also conducted a survey of the National Landscape Day 2023 site.
