6,000 servings of Bubur Lambuk distributed in less than an hour

IPOH – In less than an hour, 6,000 servings of Bubur Lambuk were distributed to the residents of Ipoh.

The Bubur Lambuk Visit Perak 2024 X Gaya Travel Media program was successfully carried out by 10 Local Authorities (PBT) throughout Perak together with Tourism Perak and the Perak State Office of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts, and Culture Malaysia (MOTAC).

The Chairman of the Tourism, Industry, Investment and Corridor Development Committee, Loh Sze Yee, stated that the Bubur Lambuk Visit Perak 2024 X Gaya Travel Media program is an annual event in conjunction with the month of Ramadan.

“Each PBT sends five representatives to cook Bubur Lambuk. Tourism Perak contributed RM450 each to the 10 participating PBTs to purchase cooking ingredients.

“The cooking event for Bubur Lambuk started at 9.00 am and the distribution of Bubur Lambuk began from 3.00 pm to 3.35 pm,” he said, also distributing Bubur Lambuk on Persiaran Bandaraya Ipoh, here today.

Present at the event was the Chief Executive Officer of Tourism Perak, Nurmalis Musa.

This program is organized by Tourism Perak in collaboration with Gaya Travel, Ipoh City Council, and the Perak State Government.
