Other recipients included the Perak Friends of OKU Association, the Kampar Ikhlas Welfare Club, the Ipoh City Youth Club, the Muafakat Sejahtera Perak Association, and Maahad Tahfiz al-Quran Wal-Qiraat Addin in Sungai Ular.
The contributions were handed over during last night’s Majlis Makan Malam Amal Nusantara KBGK Bersama Datuk M. Nasir, which was held at the Ipoh Convention Centre.
The event was graced by the Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Shah, and the Raja Permaisuri of Perak, Tuanku Zara Salim. Also in attendance were Perak Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad and his wife Datin Seri Aezer Zubir, along with other dignitaries.
The colourful and lively dinner was attended by more than 1,400 guests.
KBGK president Clr Muhammad Hamzah Dato’ Haji Md Hamdan, in his speech, said that the club’s 2025 agenda marked a new direction in alignment with the state government’s Perak Sejahtera 2030 plan.
“The club is committed to supporting the state’s efforts by helping to raise awareness among parents in Perak about Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programmes,” he said.
He added that with Perak preparing to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Perak Sultanate, the club humbly hoped for royal consent to take part in the celebration activities.
The dinner also served as a fundraiser to support KBGK’s planned activities and welfare programmes for the year 2025.
