The Rotary Club of Kinta recently hosted an inspiring talk by Angeline Teh, Amazon’s #1 International Bestselling Author of Purposeful Power Breakthrough, as part of its ongoing efforts to empower the community through leadership and personal development.
The event, held in Tower Regency Hotel, saw Teh delivering her keynote titled “The Only Constant Is Change – Pushing Yourself Out of the Comfort Zone Will Reveal Who You Are at the Core,” to an engaged audience of Rotarians, professionals, and members of the public.

Rotary Club of Kinta Chairman Mr. Sundralingam Saminathan PPT, who was also awarded the prestigious Paul Harris Fellow Award during the event, welcomed guests with an opening speech that set the tone for the evening.
Reflecting on the Rotary Club of Kinta’s mission, he shared, “One of Rotary’s essential objectives is to empower individuals to become active, ethical leaders who contribute to the betterment of their community and the world through service.”

He also highlighted the club’s past efforts such as talks on dementia, breast cancer awareness, blood donation drives, and outreach projects in remote communities like the Jahai people in Royal Belum Rainforest.

Mr. Sundralingam praised Angeline Teh as a “dear friend,” acknowledging her diverse background from banking to authorship and breakthrough coaching. “I assure all of you will benefit from Miss Angeline’s talk,” he said with confidence.

Taking the stage, Angeline Teh began her speech with humility and warmth. “Today, I come not as a doctor or a psychologist or a PhD holder, but as a humble learner,” she said. “Thank you for allowing me the privilege to share this time with you.”
Teh, who previously served as a senior banker, now works as an emotional and mindset breakthrough coach. Her talk focused on helping individuals navigate internal struggles, reconnect with their purpose, and build confidence.

“My journey has led me to support professionals, business owners, and leaders in navigating the often-overlooked emotional and mental challenges that come with high achievement,” she shared.
She emphasized the importance of pushing beyond one’s comfort zone to discover one’s true potential. Her goal is to guide individuals to overcome their challenges independently.

“I help people maneuver through difficult challenges, clarify their confidence by reconnecting with their purpose, rewiring their beliefs, and realigning their energy,” Teh explained. “So that they are able to achieve a life of peace, joy, and fulfillment.”
Teh’s talk was more than motivational and it was deeply personal, practical, and reflective. She requested attendees to be fully present during the session and to refrain from recording, aiming to preserve the privacy and emotional integrity of the shared experience.

The event concluded with a resounding round of applause and a sense of renewed perspective among the attendees. With Angeline Teh’s empowering message and the Rotary Club of Kinta’s unwavering commitment to community service, the evening stood as a testament to the power of purposeful leadership and self-discovery.
